Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on tableplanner.io, operated by SIA "Bitbox 28", registration number 40203454887, Atpūtas 11, Cēsis, Latvia.

Try everything before you pay

tableplanner is free to use. You can build your entire seating chart, add every guest, rearrange tables, run conflict detection — all without paying a cent. The €49 one-time purchase only unlocks export, sharing, and printing.

That means you see exactly what you’re getting before you pay. No surprises.

General rule: purchases are non-refundable

Because tableplanner is a digital product delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable once you have exported or downloaded your seating chart.

At checkout, you are asked to consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and to acknowledge that this waives your 14-day EU right of withdrawal once the content has been delivered (i.e. once you export). By completing your purchase and exporting, you agree to these terms.

When we will refund you

We are fair people. We will issue a refund if:

• Something broke on our end — you paid but could not export due to a bug or technical fault in the Service. We’ll fix it or refund you, your choice.
• You were charged twice or by mistake — accidental or duplicate charges are refunded immediately, no questions asked.
• You haven’t exported yet — if you purchased but changed your mind before exporting or downloading anything, email us and we’ll refund you.

The principle is simple: if you haven’t received the value you paid for, or something genuinely went wrong, we make it right.

How to request a refund

Email hello@tableplanner.io with:

• The email address you used to purchase.
• A brief description of what happened.

That’s it. No forms, no hoops. We aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method.

What happens after a refund

Once a refund is processed, your access to paid features (PDF export, share links) is revoked. Your account and chart data remain intact — you can keep using the free tier and pay again any time.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law. If the product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, your rights under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) apply. As noted above, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has been delivered with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost — which is obtained at checkout before export.
